"Descent" was written in my head on a misty February morning walk down from Darwen Tower in Lancashire. The way ahead was uncertain in the poor visibility, and I took that as a metaphor for life. The song was initially recorded for the "Breathe" album, with this version being one of two live songs that close the film of that same album - you can now watch that film via my Ethnocloud video page.
