International Folklore Festival "Atataria Lamzdžiai"

Kaunas National Culture Center of Lithuania is the organizer of the XXXIII International Folklore Festival "Atatarialamzdziai-2018" (translation "The Echoes of Trumpets-2018") that has been held in Kaunas City since 1984. This is one of the most important traditional events in Kaunas, forming an attractive image of the city and promoting traditional international music. It is a cultural heritage project for the preservation and dissemination of traditional music from Lithuania and foreign countries, fostering the traditional folk direction, but it is innovative and open. This year's festival is dedicated to the Centennial of the restored Lithuania.
