Majnun

Biography: Majnun is a madman. An eternal aspiring one, insatiable with the curiosity of a child. Simply an artist. Rocked by West-African traditional music, he made his first steps in hip-hop, then in reggae, before making every effort over the years to mature a resolutely eclectic art. Afro-blues, jazz, trance, and Latin music are the various colors that make up his musical fresco. His voice marries perfectly with a multiplicity of languages (Sérère, Wolof, English, Portuguese, Lingala...) as to reveal the uniqueness of the human race. It is thus naturally that Majnun is accompanied by musicians as silly as they are talented. Together, they tell us through their music a universal poetry.
