PerKelt has performed its unique Celtic Medieval Speed Folk since 2008. All its members are highly qualified, accomplished, and award-winning musicians, performing on recorder, harp, guitar, percussion, and vocals. They perform passionate and energetic, strong, melodic Celtic sounds through original compositions with content drawn from medieval and traditional sources. PerKelt has released three highly acclaimed albums, won "Best Live Act in the UK" at the 2014 Exposure Music Awards, and placed First Runner Up at the 2015 Bath Folk Festival New Shoots Competition. They have performed over 500 shows around the world, playing regularly at Celtic, world music, and folk music festivals, Irish music venues, pubs, churches, castles, and arts centres.
