Dave Arden a proud history within the Aboriginal and Australian music entertainment industry, touring extensively with noted Aboriginal and Non- Aboriginal artists such as Archie Roach and the late Ruby Hunter as well as touring extensively both nationally & internationally as a Co-Musical Director with the Black Arm Band which included Kutcha Edwards, Paul Kelly, Dan Sultan, Shane Howard, Tiddas and Bart Willoughby to name just a few..

Dave Arden is a Gunditjmara/Kokatha Storyteller & Songman. Dave comes from the Gunditjmara peoples in South Western, Victoria & The Kokatha peoples of the West Coast, South Australia. He’s poetic songs are inspired by a deep passion of love for country, Dave’s upbringing and his family with whom he shares a special, spiritual & cultural connection.

Dave Arden was the front man of the Victorian Aboriginal band, Koori Youth Band, and over the past 28 years he has performed and shared the stage with many of Australia finest artists, Dave Arden musical life journey started from 1986 to 2014.

Dave is now setting out on a new and exciting stage of his career. In a new showcase called “Dave Arden The Gunditjmara/Kokatha Songman, Storyteller”. In 2015 touring nationally.
