¡Globalquerque! Celebrating 15 years of bring exceptional international artists to New Mexico!¡Globalquerque! New Mexico’s Annual Celebration of World Music & Culturepresents a variety of world-class international acts, from award-winning legends to new discoveries - on three distinct concert stages over two days each September. Now in it’s 15th year, ¡Globalquerque! returns to the National Hispanic Cultural Center on September 20 + 21, 2019. Other confirmed elements of the festival include the free Saturday daytime Global Fiesta featuring fun-filled activities, educational programs and workshops for the young and inquisitive of all ages and the popular Global Village of Craft Culture & Cuisine, featuring artisans & craft-makers from around New Mexico and the Southwest as well as international food. Each year ¡Globalquerque! also sponsors a handful of outreach programs leading up to the festival, including our Friday morning “mini-fest” for local school kids (K-8). ¡Globalquerque! is broadcast locally on KUNM and across the country on radio via Native Voice One and the internet.
