ABOUT
Started in 2011, The Back To Reggae Band quickly became the Tunisian reference for reggae music, mainly due to their fresh live performances.
In a country where everything needs to be rebuilt, the band struggles not only for its own name but also to maintain a certain pulse in a forever vanishing alternative scene.
Alternating between Arabic and English lyrics, the band keeps pushing the boundaries of the local alternative scene and beyond. With its raw sound, the band's first EP "Babylon Tapes," released in November 2013, seduced a decent amount of listeners who are not used to such a local product, as well as music experts. The EP promotion dates reached all major media platforms and also places that had never hosted music gigs before, and the band was highly acclaimed in those parts of the country.
The Back To Reggae Band seeks to make more music and keep moving on with their upcoming EP.
