Since 2012, La Compagnia del Coniglio (The Fellowship of the Rabbit) has spread its way of playing ancient and traditional music at medieval fairs, Celtic festivals, and concerts. Over the years, we have changed members and repertoire, but we have maintained our spirit: the desire to entertain and have fun, to get involved and play with the public. Our approach to the originals (be they medieval, renaissance, or traditional compositions) is sometimes lighthearted and irreverent, coherently with the figure of the wandering minstrel.
The project comes from a group of friends, fans of medieval and traditional music. At the Beltane Celtic festival (where we were participating as spectators), they started calling us "the guys with the rabbit" because the founders brought their pet bunny, Chouchenn. When we started our musical adventure, we had no doubts about the name to choose: The Fellowship of the Rabbit!
