Ali Perret's DU.DU is a musical expression of Anatolia-Asia Minor, the center of cultures for thousands of years, and the multicultural chaotic sound of New York.

This musical ensemble, brought to life by Ali Perret, a renowned jazz pianist and composer from NYC-Istanbul, and Suren Asatryan, the world-famous Duduk master from Yerevan, being close friends from different musical backgrounds, aims to spread the idea that people from different cultures should live in peace.

"Ali Perret's DU.DU" features originals and arrangements of folk songs that are the synthesis of Anatolian culture combined with the contemporary harmony of the West with a Jazz approach.

Apostolos Sideris, a Greek double bass player from NYC, being a Jazz player with Greco-Balkan music roots, and Berkant Çakıcı, a percussion player with great knowledge of Middle Eastern-Asian music, have played with fine musicians and ensembles and meet in this musical journey for the same reasons.
