ABOUT
Maraquita is a Hungarian Latin band founded by singer Maria Szilágyi and pianist/composer/producer Adrian Fülöp in 2014.
The band, which plays cha-cha, salsa, rumba, mambo, and other Latin-American music, self-published their first song "Me haces llorar" in 2018, a duet with singer Ruben La Voz from the Dominican Republic.
During 2019, they self-published eight more songs, several of which reached number one on EthnoCloud's Latin-American music Top 40. The songs, which feature Spanish lyrics and were written by Adrian Fülöp, are available on all major online platforms: YouTube, Spotify, Apple Music, Facebook, etc.
In 2020, they produced the music video for the song “Me haces llorar,” which was released on March 20, 2020, and reached number one on EthnoCloud's Top 40 music video category as well. You can watch the music video on YouTube.
Since 2022, the band has played in a new lineup and with a new sound both in Hungary and abroad.
