Coming from a Hip Hop background I always searched for new styles of music, and stared to sample and collect world music in 1995,My work uses mostly the tradicional Fado, fused with contemporary hip hop sounds
the skills that i aquired in the hip hop "formation" allow me to remix and recreate songs live , its a performance with scratch, and live finger drumming on the MPC sampler
Beeing a party Dj, I naturally reach out to other styles of world and dance music , rythms from brasil india and mid western meet melodies from portuguese fado etc.. the road is endless, so i keep searching for the perfect beat!
