ABOUT
Singer Omar Ka from the banks of the Niger and flutist Mark Lotz with a 2007 CD release in a scintillating new Euro-African sound. A fresh urban crossover embracing the globe in their story on life.

Fantastic Fulani Fusion... A hint of jazz infuses the music, as well as a touch of Indian tabla—consider those the wings of a group whose musical roots are clearly in Africa. A stellar example of acoustic global fusion from artists at the top of their game. (Spin The Globe)

Having emerged out of the 'Music World: Series' (2006) – Mark Lotz & 'A Fula's Call' subsequently hit the road with wheels spinning on tours in Holland, Ukraine, Moldova, and Russia, followed soon after by the CD release of: Mark Lotz Meets Omar Ka, LIINGU (2008). Omar Ka and flutist Mark Alban Lotz form the pounding heart of 'A Fula's Call' together with percussion player/producer Afra Mussawisade (percussion), Jeroen van Vliet (keyboards), and Bao Sissoko (kora).
