Igapó De Almas

Igapó de Almas is a brazilian musical project that has been built by the musicians Walter Nazário and Pedras along for 3 years. Built little by little, respecting the mutations of time and counting with the assistance and creativity of many friends, Igapó have it's existence crossed by the necessity of being in connection with multiple sonorities, making use of various influences that shaped the project, since ethnical rhythms ( indigenous from the north of Brazil) and popular poetry from the northest of Brazil, to the possibilities of contemporary art and eletronic music.The search of Igapó de Almas is for a musicality that communicates its heterogeneity and singularity. The first album is the result of the ways that we went through in our own musical mix, with us and the ones that we met and joined together along this long production.The project Igapó de Almas is also an aesthetic manifesto. It has a musical alchemy, composed by the will of joining strange elements with one another, making the differences between them become one and dance together. From this amalgam comes an ethno-psychedelia transformed in an audible act. Each music is an celestial body inside of an imaginary galaxy which we emerge from and now we release it for stream or download.Have a good connection!
