Funky and Rushee, brothers from the Solomon Islands, originally from Malaita Province, west of the Pacific region, just next to Papua New Guinea, started recording with Roiroa Productions. In 2008, they released their first album "True Love," which was recorded with Studio Melanesia with Danny Fa'arodo in Honiara, Solomon Islands. It also features Sharzy and Wenona, two of Solomon's local artists.
Originally, Funky and Rushee, also known as Floyd and Royce Manata, spent some years growing up in PNG.
Their second album, "Love Is Forever," is set to be released this year, 2010. They have just recorded their third album, still with Studio Melanesia, which is in the making, called "One Love." To be continued... Thanks for reading. Email us at funkynrushee@gmail.com for more information.
