ABOUT
Eva Cappelli comes from a varied background of music, theater, and the arts. She is a multi-award-winning singer-songwriter from Western MA. Eva plays in several bands, including The Eva Cappelli Band, Wild Heat—a tribute to Fleetwood Mac—and Good To Be King, a tribute to Tom Petty. Eva plays a wide variety of venues, from small coffee houses to The Hard Rock Café, The Big E, The Iron Horse Music Hall, and Majestic Theater, as well as some large festivals, including The Montauk Music Festival in Long Island, NY, and the Riverside Blues and BBQ Festival in Greenfield, MA. She has also performed at The Eastern States Expo in West Springfield, MA. She has opened for many blues artists, such as Luther Guitar Junior Johnson, Joe Louis Walker, Coco Montoya, Debbie Davies, Popa Chubby, and many more. Eva won a Livewire Award and Best Blues Band in 2009 with her CD release "Valentine," and then won The Lady Lake Award for her song "The Forecast" from her release "Bits and Bobs" in 2010. Since then, she has released "Don’t Send Me Flowers" in 2013 and her latest release, "Evenings Pay," in 2014. Eva was given a rave review from the Boston Blues Society and several big write-ups in Pop Culture Magazine and The Northern Exposure. Eva has gone on to become internationally known and was asked to be a part of a compilation album of all-stars with Tali Icepack Jackson. Eva’s music has been likened to Bonnie Raitt, Susan Tedeschi, The Cowboy Junkies, KD Lang, Patsy Cline, Etta James, Grace Slick, and Fleetwood Mac. Her vocals have been called liquid smoke, and she is renowned for her sensual, sultry heartbreak lyrics as well as for her hard-rocking take-no-prisoners songs. She can go from one end of the rainbow to the other and take you along for the ride of your life.
