Presents his new album "Musika y Amor" which
consists of a wide range of world music like cumbia, huaynos, reggae, hip hop, funk, rap, electro swing, as well as folkloristic South American sounds rich in deep feelings like human freedom. Ethnic sounds and instruments like the charango and cuatro, along with the lyrics, the rhyme, and the melody, are the focal points of his career in building a route around the world, creating an atmosphere made of musical sensitivity. A kind of ethno-folk urban sounds.
He worked with well-known record producers such as Gustavo Santaolalla, Pablo Guyot, Alfredo Toth, Pepe Cespedes, and Fabrizio Barbacci. The following songs should be mentioned: "Vidita," "El Mundo," "Echale semilla," "Falopero" (Andean hip hop) winning the "La Resistencia" competition in Mexico among 3000 Latin American bands, "Los ejes de mi carretera" (Atahualpa Yupanqui) in an electro-dub version, "Hay un lugar," "Los Ultimos," "Huaynot," "Santa Anita," which was chosen during "Lo Nuestro" as Best Latin Song in Miami (2002).
In his latest album called "Aca y Ahora" (La Zurda 2010 / produced by Fabrizio Barbacci), which was recorded in Europe, he collaborated with the band No Te Va Gustar (Uruguay) and the Italian band Negrita.
In the three albums recorded with the band La Zurda (he was responsible for the composition, voice, charango, ronroco, guitar, trumpet, harmonica, etc.), you can listen to different music sounds and a wide cultural mixture which goes from Native American songs to the new modern electro sounds. During his music journeys, he shared the stage with well-known artists such as Paralamas, Emir Kusturica, Amadou & Mariam, Mad Professor, Molotov, Fishbone, Los Fabulosos Cadillacs, Bersuit, Autenticos Decadentes, Café Tacuba, Candela Sow, No Te Va Gustar, La Vela Puerca, Thundamentals, Negrita, Richard Bona. He took part in important festivals in the following countries: Argentina, Uruguay, Venezuela, Mexico, Spain, Italy, Switzerland, Germany, which were broadcast through major mass media.
In 2014, Ema Yazurlo & Quilombo Sonoro (his new lineup) presented this new album in Buenos Aires after his European Tour: "Yira el Mundo Europa Tour 2014". During the tour, he played in different cities: Milan, Rome, Modena, The Hague, Bolzano, Bologna, Pisa, Munich, Neu-Ulm, Amsterdam, and Utrecht.
In 2015, he traveled to Mexico, performing a concert tour "Luz y Sombra Mexico Tour" in cities like Cancun, Tulum, Puerto Morelos, Playa del Carmen, etc. He is currently planning the EUROPE 2015 tour, playing at renowned festivals such as Au Foin de la Rue (France), Polé Polé Festival (Belgium), Tollwood (Germany), Roots Festival (Netherlands), Melkweg (Netherlands), Big Rivers (Netherlands), Global Festa (Italy), Marghera Village (Italy), etc.
