In 2003, he was sent to Bandundu city by his parents for educational reasons; for many years, he was recognized as a guitarist and leader of his orchestra group Astra in Bandundu Ville. Upon his return to Kinshasa in 2009, he joined the Ba Nkosi band, where he took on roles as an arranger, singer, guitarist, and songwriter. During his experience with the star of the Congolese rumba group, leader Koffi Olomide's Quartier Latin in 2014 and 2015, he played rhythm guitar. In 2016, he decided to create his own project: PATRICK Buluku The Black Man. Patrick has built a unique style, Buluku, at the crossroads of multiple influences, from the folk rhythm of the traditional region of Congo R.D to the complex sounds of world music. Mixing rock and world music rhythms of Africa, his music reflects great enthusiasm and dynamism that stir the heart to the sound of his guitar and his pleasant voice.
