The Padmanabha/Strongmen duo is the combination of music from North America and India.
Americana Raga is the first release by the Padmanabha/Strongmen Duo. Both musicians have deep roots in various musical traditions. Mikee Strongmen is from Nebraska and plays the banjo, slide dobro, and the saw. He has performed extensively throughout North America. Ravi Padmanabha has studied tabla and sarangi with many of India's leading master musicians. Together, the musicians have found common ground for cross-cultural collaboration.
