Glocal Express

Glocal Express plays the multi-faceted music of Turkey, ranging from traditional folk songs and Turkish classical music to Kurdish folk songs and songs from Azerbaijan. Their music knows no cultural boundaries. What makes Glocal Express unique is that the songs are played with oriental and "untypical" Western instruments, so it sounds much different from traditional ones! Glocal Express aims to reinvent Turkish music and also stands for refreshing frankness and experimentation. But not only the music and diverse instruments are special; the band members also come from all over the world.
