Chris performs traditional instrumental music from across the Middle East and Asia on the historic regional instruments from the Silk Road: Arabic Oud, Persian Tar, Turkish Saz, Indian Sitar, and Chinese Pipa. His music is based on compositions from various regions and time periods, as well as mastery of the improvised music forms of Maqam, Dastgah, and Raga.
