Pherkhisa"
Georgian folk music and chanting youth group "Pherkhisa," founded in 2008 by the leadership of Natia Datuashvili. The group's first performance was held within the framework of the 5th International Symposium of Georgian Traditional Polyphony at the grand hall of Tbilisi State Conservatory.
The group's repertoire features traditional folk pieces and church chants from different parts of Georgia. The main source of learning is archival records and chant collections published by the Patriarchate's Chant Center. Since its inception, the group has been an active participant in numerous concerts, different events, and evenings dedicated to charity.
