Luiz Márquez, a Mexican multi-instrumentalist and composer, launched his musical movement known as MEZCAL, a sound of Ethno-Jazz in which ancient pre-Columbian instruments enter into a dialogue with the modern world. Taking the power of nature as his starting point, he uses a wide range of wind instruments, varying from sea shells to saxophones, using the blues as a bridge between the two worlds.
