Jenna Nation is a Canadian R&B/Pop singer and songwriter who is quickly gaining momentum on the international music scene. Born in Ottawa, Canada to a musical family, Jenna was introduced to various styles of music including Classical, Jazz, Soul, and R&B.
Jenna has received numerous awards and scholarships, including from the highly respected Berklee College of Music in Boston, where she attained her Bachelor’s Degree (Summa Cum Laude). After her studies at Berklee, Jenna was invited to write and record her first original album at Music World Entertainment (Matthew Knowles’ music label and recording studio) in Houston, Texas, which opened the door to other opportunities where she went on to work with Grammy and JUNO-winning songwriters and producers from all over the world. Her album "You Don’t Know" received numerous accolades, including being named Canada's Best R&B Album of the Year, #9 overall (Music Canada Magazine), and had one of the 10 Best Records of the Year (Village Voice Magazine).
Jenna Nation has appeared at several famed festivals and international venues, including RBC Bluesfest, MIDEM, the Toronto, Ottawa, and Beaches International Jazz Festivals, Live Nation HQ, as well as at an Official JUNO’s After Party and Grammy Week Showcase. She has opened for artists such as Shawn Mendes, Chromeo, Lauv, and Snarky Puppy. Jenna Nation has released multiple singles and four albums over the course of her career, including two jazz albums and two original R&B albums. Her new singles “Sign” and “All I Need” are snapshots into a new era of Jenna Nation for her forthcoming 5th album.
