ABOUT
Flair Q-Patience Flair Q, born Keith Ramaila, was born in Ga-Sekororo in a village called Lorraine and later moved to Phalaborwa in Namakgale Township after his matric in Limpopo province, South Africa. He is now the founder of Bokang M Records and is a music composer, producer, and singer who has lived to see most of his life shattered from not getting recognition as he has fought for his independence in owning his craft and having full copyright of his work. Academics: Flair Q completed his matric (high school) in 1997 with exemption and in 2005 completed his diploma in Software Specialist and Web Designing with Boston College with three distinctions. He has worked as a barman as his first job and later worked as a Treasury Custodian at SBV Services and ABSA bank as part of putting bread on the table, and also the money helped in buying music software to build a home studio and do recordings. Flair Q has produced his early work professionally with Rob Luce of Cooler Records and Karabo Motijoane of Sheer Publishing as his Executive Producers, which saw the release of his first Afro-Traditional Jazz Album titled "Mama" in 2007 under his real name Keith Ramaila. He then established his own record label Bokang M Records in 2015, named after his late daughter Bokang Mamello Ramaila, after having a long break from the music industry to recap and find himself on whether to quit or continue with music as the frustrations were just too much to handle. He likes working with underground music producers as he believes they hold the real fresh and original taste of music as they are eager and still wanting to be discovered. In 2017, he got a distribution deal with Static Plastic and Phat Kat Music, and two projects titled "Tomorrow" and "Never Lose Hope" were released in the same year and both made it in the top 20 of the Afro/Latin/Brazilian category and the top 100 of Traxsource charts. Keith Ramaila and his team at BMR saw the need to change his stage name to Flair Q with the release of his third project from his own record label BMR titled "Patience," and life has never been the same. The album is a complete House project and made it into every playlist of the house music genre and charts. Flair Q regards this project as one of his best, revealing a painful journey of his music career, to see all his efforts coming together and all the hard work paying off, and so far a well-received album and well-produced album in terms of music composition and production. The investment to release this album comes from a painful memory where he had to pawn his car and most of his household items to make it happen and to make sure that the project is out, hoping for the best results. Many sacrifices were made to see the release of this album.
