Tafadzwa Christine Gapara is a composer, performer, and music teacher. Born in Bulawayo, Zimbabwe, she has an honors degree in Music and Musicology from Midlands State University and a professional music certificate from Music Crossroads. Tafadzwa can play a range of instruments such as the mbira, marimba, recorder, keyboard, and guitar. She has taught in schools and at the College of Creative Arts Africa. She has performed with the multi-Grammy-winning Soweto Gospel Choir, as a backing vocalist for Albert Nyathi, Amavithikazi, Lelo Langa, and as a marimba player and vocalist for the Royal Vibrationz Marimba Band. Tafadzwa has facilitated marimba and singing workshops at the annual Zimfest in the USA in 2019. She is currently volunteering at the Sandra Jones Centre and the You Have It In You Foundation as a music teacher.
