ABOUT
The Hoochie Digs started out in Louisiana in 2014, writing music at their old home in the Bayou State. After a move to Florida, they haven't stopped. The duo has released three albums, "Whitewater" being the latest, and continues to write and record. The Digs perform at venues and festivals in Florida, as well as back in Louisiana, their home state, still featured in some of their music. Cher is French-speaking and of Cajun heritage, flavoring some songs with the sweet language. The best way to describe The Hoochie Digs' genre is Bluesy Folk, in line with the style of Louisiana. The South seeps in to give their sound some Country. Whatever you call the vibe, Joey's guitar will draw you in. The two got the name from Cher's French grandma, who would say "hoochie dig" in place of a name she could not recall! Listen to their Blues Folk to hear true life stories that bring us all together. Follow them here and on Spotify, Facebook/Instagram, and YouTube.
