Sekwanele Innocentia Nyawo was born on 21 September 1999 in Jozini, KwaZulu-Natal, and is known as a professional Sequarh. Sequarh is a South African female singer-songwriter. Her music represents Afro-pop and Afro-soul.

She started singing for the church where she worshipped until she realized that she had the ability to sing. Sequarh is a student at the University of Zululand in the Mpangeni area of Kwadlangezwa, where she met another musician who is also a freelancer.

His name is Kwanele Vuyani Mbonambi, known professionally as Quenellx95, who is a singer-songwriter and a producer for X95WORLDMUSIX Label. He was the one who took her into the studio, and Sequarh started releasing her first song that shook the place with the song "Zbubuya Nina" soundtrack. That song was included in the EP The White Rose as the first song on the EP. The song is now popular and listened to throughout South Africa.
