Miranda Rondeau, a prominent frame drum artist and teacher based in the USA, learnt frame drumming in person from the late Layne Redmond. Unfortunately, I only had access to Layne’s DVDs and books. Miranda says: “The piece was created to give an opportunity for frame drummers to sing while drumming. Patterns are easily remembered by including melody. It is my hope that all who play the frame drum will be inspired to sing together with it.”
