Merem

Merem is a world music band based in Rotterdam. Coming from Greece, they bring a southern breeze and traditional flavors, mixed with improvised jazz. Their show consists of their own compositions together with their own arrangements of Greek traditional music. Their first single, "Yassemi," was released in 2022. Merem will release their first album in September 2023.
Merem is Vanessa Kourtesi (vocals), Dimitra Metzaki (oud), Giorgos Bereris (piano), Hector Remsak (drums), and Giannis Vagianos (double bass).
