Bálint Bársony and the Hungarian Rhapsody Project (HRP) was established in 2014 with the goal of strengthening our national identity through their music and paying a unique tribute to the great Hungarian composers, folk song collectors, and the folk music roots of Hungarian culture. The band combines modern musical sounds with ancient instruments from the Carpathian Basin such as hurdy-gurdy, tárogató, Turkish flute, lute, folk flutes, violins, drums, and percussions.
Their performances simultaneously capture the inspiring vibrations of both past and present musical atmospheres, not only preserving Hungarian traditions but also offering an unforgettable cultural experience that transcends borders and generations.
