About Madhav Haridas:
A French jazz saxophone player, he lived in India for more than 15 years, where he studied North and South Indian classical music and started playing the bansuri (Indian bamboo flute) intensively. He's been living and working as a performing artist in Israel since 2019. His original music is the result of his spiritual evolution following his life journey and builds bridges between the musical spheres of India, the Middle East, the Balkans, Afro, and Jazz. An inspirational artist at the bridge of tradition and modernity, Madhav has earned his reputation as a talented musician and skillful performer with his distinct and authentic musical style.
Madhav Haridas Quartet:
Madhav’s new project started in September 2023 from the meeting with the genius Israeli guitarist Omri Porat. This new project is the outcome of Madhav's musical search throughout his life and came from his desire to find his own musical identity. Through original compositions based on Indian scales, this project is a new kind of fusion between Indian, Spiritual Jazz, and World music. Accompanied by incredible musicians, this show is a musical and spiritual journey through Madhav’s own soul.
