About "Cantar La Guitarra, Jono Heyes - Recorded Live, in a Beehive"
THE SONG:

Cantar La Guitarra, tells the story of Jono Heyes' magical encounter in the park where Jeanne Louise Calment, the oldest documented human to have lived, once had a garden. There by chance Heyes met with a mysterious guitarist and a yellow spider who wove the thread of the Bulerias.

ABOUT THE ALBUM:
With seven musicians from New Zealand, the Czech Republic, France and Sweden, we recorded and filmed live for eight days in the Czech Bohemian Forest, in a Beehive Studio.

The innovative album of original songs takes the listener on a worldwide tour whilst exploring existential themes.

Unique and beautiful tonal colours from Jono Heyes' homemade acoustic instruments and draws upon diverse influences from the Sahara, Mongolia, Africa, Cuba, Eastern Europe and beyond.

The album was co-produced, recorded and mixed by Jerry Boys, Grammy Award engineer known for his excellent live acoustic recording skills with projects like Buena Vista Social Club, Toumani Diabate, Omare Sangare and many others.
