When a small country surrounded by sea gives away most of the innovations they create, and harks back to the days when their 'greatness' was achieved by the appropriation of the mineral and agricultural wealth of other nations, many of whom have overtaken them in the perceived hierarchy of importance, then eventually it will have to face the reality of the globally connected world in which we all live.
