ABOUT
With over 30 years of experience in the entertainment industry, Graham Steel spent many years at Windsor Arts Centre as General Manager and Music Programmer. During this time, he worked on thousands of events covering most art forms and developed a strong reputation within the venue for live music, creating one of the first (if not the first) open mic nights, running an annual band competition that kicked off professional careers for many musicians, as well as a program of events that featured virtually every genre of music. Graham organized an annual Guitar Festival that featured many of the top guitarists in the world, including the UK debut of Australian guitar legend Tommy Emmanuel, and for 6 years he organized the annual Tommy Fest. He also set up and ran the Windsor Jazz Festival, the Small World Music Festival, and the Grassroots Music Festival.

He spent two years working at the West Wing Arts Centre in Slough programming events before moving to Jagz in Ascot, where he spent 5 years building up its reputation as one of Berkshire's leading live music venues, putting on events most evenings. He also set up the Live Music at Jagz events during Royal Ascot week, which attracted over 35,000 people.

Graham recently successfully event-managed the Funk & Soul Spectacular at the Hammersmith Apollo, which has been featured in national and local newspapers as an example of how to run large-scale events, as well as Bracknell's Party at the Park, which attracted around 7,000 people. In 2015, Graham set up his own music company, which specialized in putting on events throughout the UK and arranging tours nationwide, as well as putting together a music development program at South Hill Park Arts Centre, Bracknell, which includes regular events in various venues within the venue. In 2016, Graham was instrumental in bringing back the Bracknell Festival after a 9-year absence, which featured The Shires, The Hoosiers, Space, Sally Barker, Owen Paul, R'n'Beatles, plus many more. Future events include Listen Up - Berkshire Music Fair at South Hill Park Arts Centre, Bracknell.

2017 has seen GSMC organize the Richard Digance - Golden Anniversary Tour, as well as a UK Tour for Californian singer-songwriter Corinne West and Listen Up - Berkshire Music Fair, as well as new music nights at The Acoustic Couch and Woking Music Club, as well as regular events at South Hill Park Arts Centre.

He has a real passion for live music and event management and feels honored to have had the opportunity to work with so many talented performers.
