Góbé - Fusion Folk from the Carpathian Basin Beyond Any Boundaries We are a six-member formation, established in 2007, in Budapest, Hungary. The word “Góbé” means “a man with a twisted mind.” We have used authentic folk music in a daring and experimental way right from the beginning. Authentic music is very important to us, but it is "just" a starting point when we try to make our own sound. This is fusion folk, where we use a lot of genres, while the connecting thing is always the pure folk music.
