Elsa Mouratidou is a multifaceted performer who blends Greek tradition with contemporary musical forms. As the leader of the Elsa Mouratidou Sextet, she has crafted a unique musical language that marries traditional music with innovative soundscapes.
Elsa is also an active member of:
• Stringless (a cappella group)
• Argatia Ensemble (Black Sea music)
• Tir Fada (Celtic music)
She participates in projects such as:
• L’alma de Saloniko (Judeo-Spanish songs of Thessaloniki)
• Plan C–Caucasus (Songs from the Caucasus)
With over 20 years of experience, Elsa has performed at festivals and venues in Greece and abroad (Turkey, Bulgaria, Spain, France, Germany, Australia, and more). She has collaborated with renowned artists like Giorgos Kazantzis, Doros Demosthenous, Maria Thoidou, Andreas Karakotas, Dimitris Zervoudakis, Manolis Mitsias, Antonis Kalogiannis, Vasilis Lekkas, and others.
In theatre, Elsa has appeared in productions by the National Theatre of Northern Greece and other companies, as well as serving as a music director for various theatrical performances.
