ABOUT
El Mantel de Noa

"Dreams, refuge, freedom.
Minds that fly in the form of music through dreamlike landscapes.
Wandering islands that travel here and there to give us back what we have lost, the emotion of the unknown, the smiles of friendship, the forgotten aromas.
Islands of beauty and hope,
Wandering Islands."

- Name of the show: Islas Errantes (Wandering Islands)

- Date and place of premiere: February 2021

Journey through the enchanted music of the world.

The group "El Mantel de Noa" has made many presentations on the stages and festivals of the Spanish geography, reaping remarkable success with the public attending their concerts.

The incredible versatility of its components, showcasing on stage a score of musical instruments, as well as its careful staging, make the concert an attractive show for anyone who comes to listen to them.

A special sensitivity and mastery in the knowledge of unusual instruments on stage and a different look at ancient and traditional music.

The journey is impregnated with aromas and music from north to south and from east to west, with the rhythms and textures that the instruments bring to the stage.

Pilar and Miguel Ángel are two consolidated musicians in the Aragonese and national scene with more than 30 years on stage.

After the recording of "Hilos de Aire" in 2015, they present their latest work "Islas Errantes". Fourteen melodies of composition and based on traditional melodies from different countries of the world, with special attention to the sounds of the Celtic harp and duduk (Armenian clarinet), creating unrepeatable atmospheres.
