Hypnotise is about a trip I went on with a friend. I was in quite a dark place at the time but by the end of the day, I was thinking about things in a completely different way. I distinctly remember having a few drinks after at my flat in Manchester and as the sun set outside my window, it felt like I had changed for the better.

Originally written on guitar, the main riff was doubled on Piano with vocal harmonies and soaring strings providing a very dynamic sound.
