DARAWISH

A project created from the coexistence of different artistic sensibilities, Spanish musicians who have lived in Arabian countries, and other Arab & Persian musicians who lived in Spain. Together to share and develop their experiences in a contemporary context. Going from Arabic Maqam, through the Huzam, to the Persian Segah mode, DARAWISH plunges into the whirlwind of reality in which we live. Its tireless and endless spinning (like a Dervishes' dance) is where people create their own art from the early times of the past to today.
