Cecilia Gauna is a singer, songwriter and vocal trainer, born in Buenos Aires, Argentina. She has a background in polyphonic choirs (Coro Polifónico Nacional, Coro Estable del Teatro Colón de Buenos Aires), Early Music, Zarzuela, Rock, Jazz and Argentine folk music.
As a composer and lyricist she has two works: Delfines (2018) and Aliento (2010) in which she uses a wide variety of Latin American rhythms combined with big band brass and chamber string arrangements, as well as diverse percussion. In Non Stop, her first album (2006), she composed the music to texts from Latin American poets. Currently (May 2021) she is about to release her new EP" Las cuatro estaciones"with influences from electronic music.
