Brity Yonly is a Zimbabwean award-winning singer, songwriter, and performing arts director. She is a percussionist who plays the mbira, marimba, djembe, and conga drums. Brity can perform either solo, in a duet, or with a band. She has been touring Europe, Asia, and Africa. She is also a theatre practitioner, scriptwriter, filmmaker, poet, and director. She is the founder and curator of MuFoGwO Festival, a non-profit organization that empowers girls and women in music. MuFoGwO stands for Music For Girls and Women.
