Bikeh & Nefsazz / Project (2025) Bikeh & Nefsazz is a multicultural world-jazz ensemble blending Azerbaijani and Anatolian folk roots with the fluid harmonies of modern jazz. Led by Azerbaijani pianist, composer, and musicologist Bikeh Fatullayeva, the project creates a musical bridge between East and West — where timeless modal traditions meet contemporary improvisation. Their debut album, “Project (2025)”, recorded at Ütopya Müzik Studios in Istanbul, features rich acoustic textures and heartfelt performances by İsmail Hakkı Ramazanoğlu (oud & vocals), Murat Süngü (cello), Özgür Taş (drums), and Levent Canen (bass). Through pieces like “Esmerim,” “Ay Lolo,” and “Sultani Yegah Sirto,” the band reimagines the spirit of folk melodies within a refined world-jazz atmosphere.
