In 1989, he decided to focus on composing his own music and demonstrating that the diatonic accordion offers much more possibilities than the waltz and polka, which were commonly used in this part of Europe. He began a journey in a new musical direction, combining elements of ethnic, pop, jazz, and funk/rock styles on the diatonic accordion. The result is a completely new and virtuoso style of playing the diatonic accordion.
