Наш біль глибоко у нас в'ївся, він трансформується у лють, перетворюється на силу. Біль загартовує і передається з покоління в покоління. Кожна дочка додає в цю чашу свої сльози. І коли чаша переповнюється, вона виливається в такі пісні.


We lose the most precious ones for years, decades, centuries. We mourn, grieve, bewail.
Our pain is deeply inside, it transforms into rage, turns into strength. Pain become harder and is passed down from generation to generation. Each daughter adds her tears to this cup. And when the cup overflows, it pour out into such songs.

"Oh, I'll sit at the table" was recorded in the expedition of the project "Baba Yelka" in the village Lypnyazhka of Dobrovelychkivka district.
