Yacine & the Oriental Groove Yacine Belahcene was the leader and singer of Cheb Balowski and Nour, two bands that defined the urban/mestizo sound of Barcelona in the early 2000s. Together with Yannis Papaioannou, a Greek musician established in Barcelona, they created Yacine & the Oriental Groove, and his music matured without losing a bit of energy.
