About "Trio Galantes - Live in Rotterdam - "Quiero Amañecer""
Trio Galantes debut in the main auditorium of Rotterdam's De Doelen, in 2022. The group has been performing in big and small venues since its formation in 2017.
Trio Galantes specialises in the big hits of Latin American music’s golden age, the 40s and 50s. Three classically trained musicians form the Trio: Alvaro Pinto Lyon (Chile), Humberto Albores Martinez (Mexico) and Augusto Valença (Brazil) and sing in close harmony to the accompaniment of acoustic guitars. We perform a big variety of original and fusion Latin styles, including boleros, coplas, baladas, sambas, bossa nova and tangos.
Alongside the more traditional, acoustic-oriented, performances of our core repertoire, we are currently collaborating with some DJs in the remixing of our recordings, with the idea of also performing those “Lounge” versions live, in the near future.
