On the 11th of August 1985, the Jordanian star of Palestinian origin, Toni Qattan, was born in Jerusalem. His talent in music was born with him. While most people spent hours playing hide and seek as children, Toni dreamt, breathed, and lived for music. At the tender age of six, Toni began learning how to play the oud. He then went on to learn to play the guitar and piano under the supervision of the best music teachers. After acquiring a strong talent in musical composition, Toni started enhancing his talents in oriental and western singing. In October 2003, Toni entered Applied Science University where he studied Business Administration, but he still had a big passion for music that he couldn't give up his dream. In 2004, Toni recorded his first single "Betghib Alaya," then in 2005 he recorded another hit single "Awedteni Sahar Alayali," and he shot a music video for it with the director Bilal Alsurri. In 2006, Toni shot two music videos for his hit songs, "Men Dounek" and "Eyouni Sehrani." In January 2007, Toni shot another single music video for the song "Ebid w Rouh." In the summer of 2007, Toni had big concerts in the Middle East and also in Malaysia in the Far East, and he participated in big music festivals like the "Zyriab" Festival, and the "Amman Summer" Festival. In April 2008, Toni released his first album "Malaksh Zai" under the label of "Radio Fann" and "Mazzika Productions." Later in the summer of 2008, Toni participated in the "Zyriab Festival" in Malaysia, also participated in the "Jordan Festival," and had big concerts all over Jordan, Lebanon, Syria, and Palestine. In November 2008, Toni released another hit single, "Ahlef Yamin." In April 2009, Toni Qattan was chosen to compose and sing the official song for Queen Rania of Jordan's national initiative, Ahel AlHimmeh. In March 2010, Toni released a new hit song named "Maghroum," which was shot as a music video in the valley of Jordan with the Lebanese director Marc Karam. In October 2010, Toni released his hit song "Rohi O Rohek," written, composed, and arranged by Wael Alsharkawi. In April 2011, Toni released a new single "Law Maktoub," talking about his illness and about his feelings during therapy; it's written, composed, and arranged by Toni himself. Toni also established himself as a successful music composer and writer. He wrote and composed most of his songs and has also composed songs for other artists. Toni Qattan is now one of the fastest-rising stars in the Arab world and the Middle East.
