I'm a metropolitan performer, a musician, a writer. My music is a journey through folkbeat and global pop. I experiment by blending the sounds of the Global South — part of my roots, my memory — with urban beats, loops, electronics, and groove. There's the Mediterranean, ancient chants, and the rhythms of the city. There's poetry, which I've practiced since I was a child: words are voice and body for me, but also an intellectual path. Writing is one of the best medicines I know.
