The album HINAR is the original creation of an urban musician who blends the depths of Kurdish folklore with, ethno-synth/pop and ballad styles. The album consists of nine songs, all of the lyrics and most of the compositions are by Rewşan. This unique work adds unique colours to individual songs by skilfully using traditional instruments such as zurna and kaval in its sound, which is interwoven with modern production techniques. Carrying the rich cultural heritage of Mesopotamia, the Kurdish geography has also been the site of exile and the search for rights. At a time when historical and social experiences often confine Kurdish culture to a political framework, the album HINAR goes beyond these moulds and presents a brand new poetic narrative.
