Quenellx95 is the stage name of Kwanele Vuyani Mbonambi, an up-and-coming Singer-songwriter from Kwazulu Natal, Durban, Kwamashu. He has been making a name for himself in the music industry since he released his first Album as Quenellx95 in 2020. Since then, he has released several popular tracks and featured on songs with some of the biggest names in Pop music, hip hop and R&B.

Early Career & Influences

Quenellx95 was born and raised in Durban, where he first started rapping and singing at the age of 14. He quickly developed his own sound, influenced by a variety of artists including Eminem, Usher, and Bruno mars. After quitting from high school, Quenellx95 moved from Durban to seeking for jobs while still pursuing his musical ambitions. He was eventually able to focus on his music full-time after creating his own Record label in 2019.

Breakthrough Success & Latest Album

In early 2020, Quenellx95 released his debut Album “I. Am Me,” which quickly became a viral hit. The Album was followed by two others - “Evol Trumpet” and “Purple Mind” - both of which charted on Kwamashu Baba wenu Event and Promotion Billboard Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart. Quenellx95 has since collaborated with some of the biggest names in hip hop and R&B including Jeezoh Rsa and Wiseguy Thompson. His latest album, “Place I Can Be” was released in 2023.
